Munich, 13 March 2020 – Michael von Gruenewaldt joined KINGSTONE Investment Management (KINGSTONE IM) as Head of Finance. He is responsible for asset structuring, financing and controlling as well as the Finance Department on corporate level. He reports to Managing Partner Dr Tim Schomberg.

Prior to joining KINGSTONE IM, Michael von Gruenewaldt worked for Exporo, the largest real estate crowdfunding platform in Germany. He took over as Head of Finance after the merger with Exporo’s main competitor Zinsland in October 2019. For three years at Zinsland, he worked as a Managing Partner, CFO and COO and was responsible for finance, legal, compliance and product development. Overall, he contributed to the development and ultimately the sale of the company.

Preceding Michael von Gruenewaldt’s time at Zinsland, he worked eight years for Deutsche Bank. There he gained extensive experience in strategy, M&A, integrating and restructuring projects. Michael von Gruenewaldt holds a degree in business administration from HHL (Handelshochschule Leipzig).
