Munich, 05 March 2019 – KINGSTONE Investment Management (KINGSTONE IM), a Munich based investment management boutique, has implemented a new Advisory Board composed of well-known individuals. Honorary President of The German Property Federation (ZIA), Dr. Eckart John von Freyend, will serve as Chairman of the five-member committee which comprises highly recognized experts of the real estate industry. He is one of the most remarkable representatives of the sector in Germany and left his imprints as long-lasting CEO of IVG Immobilien AG, Member of the Administrative Board of the German Federal Agency for Public Property (BIMA), Honorary President of the German Economic Institute and member of various Supervisory Boards.

Beyond Dr. John von Freyend, Benedikt Gabor is representing the segment of German institutional investors within the committee. Gabor works as Head of Real Estate and Investments at Deutsche Rückversicherung AG and serves for the Association of German Public Insurers. Dr. Carsten Loll, an expert for legal matters, also joined the Advisory Board of KINGSTONE IM. He is one of the most distinguished lawyers in the fields of Real Estate Transactions and Real Estate Private Equity in Germany and a partner with Linklaters LLP. Additionally, Rupert Wingfield, the former long-lasting Head of European Real Estate of the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, a sovereign wealth fund of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, has been appointed, a proven expert of the international institutional investment community. Finally, Andreas von Buttlar is completing the committee. Up to date, he continues to serve in various responsible positions for notable family offices and wealth managers (such as Flossbach von Storch AG). He is well connected in the industry and provides his comprehensive expertise to the Advisory Board.

KINGSTONE IM is a joint venture of KINGSTONE Capital Partners and PEGASUS Capital Partners, founded end of last year. Currently, the company works intensively on the launch of its first investment products. For a first step, target clients are mainly German institutional investors. For preparation and execution of the forthcoming product launches, the KINGSTONE IM management recruited additional staff from other well-known corporates to strengthen their operational team. „We were able to convince excellent people already and will scale up our team further on“ Dr. Tim Schomberg explained.
